My Story

Wendell J. Carter is a native of Washington, D.C. He is twin to his brother, Wayne, and also has a separate set of twin sisters; the four are 11 months apart. Every year, for approximately two weeks, all the twins are the same age.
Motivated to motivate others, Wendell Carter—affectionately known by his team members as “Coach Carter”—has spent most of his professional career in the selling world. He loves this quote about being a proud salesperson: "Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can"- John Wesley

Coach Carter’s sales career began when he was young boy, selling goods and services to his neighbors, and continued during his four years at Morehouse College, where he sold cable TV door to door. Throughout his career, Coach Carter has sold everything from lawn care and home-improvement services to school fundraisers, newspapers, encyclopedias, computers, moving services, and telecommunications, just to name a few.

My Focus

Being a top sales producer has paved the way for Coach Carter to launch, fail, and succeed with several national and international businesses of his own. Coach Carter has traveled on business extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific Islands, and the Caribbean. These experiences have uniquely prepared him for what calls his “encore career” with United Schools Associates (USA).

Coach Carter is passionate about serving as USA’s chief distribution coach (CDC), and relishes in training and encouraging team members to become their best. He excels at attention to detail, has a big heart, and strives to enhance the lives of those he serves.

Coach Carter serves as a Board Member of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) for the Metro DC Chapter.

In the past, Coach Carter has built teams from the ground floor to record-breaking levels, shattering company records. He is now excited to take a new team to new heights with USA.

Coach Carter’s greatest blessing is his lovely wife, Elizabeth. He says God was showing off when he brought her into his life. He adores his four children, Christopher, Olivia, Madison, and John.
